@gundoc I have mentioned in the past that the charlton has a special meaning in this area as the original testing for this rifle was done three farms to the North of mine. The famer who was involved in testing on the ground was badly injured when something went wrong, and walked with a severe limp for the rest of his life. He was also deaf as a post, but as they allegedly put 30,000 rounds through the various rifles during testing that is hardly surprising. So suicides from frustration might be equalled by accidental deaths/disabilities from misfires of various kinds.
