Leica Scopes and smaller binos, who has/had one?

    Good morning Lads/Lass'

Looking at the Leica ER 2.5-10x42 Ballistic Riflescope as a light weight .243 scope but with enough zoom if needed.Anyone had first hand experience with one? Don't hear of many people with them.

Also looking at some of the binos that are 10x32 over 10x42 anyone running these as lighter weight hunting binos?

    Many thanks.

Used a lot of the scopes, extremely clear glass, precise repeatable adjustments and very nice to spend time using them

Thank you for that. I thought it was a very reasonable price (in the US) for a decent brand. Just haven't seen any to actually look at.

Thanks for the offer. Mykonos to South Island might be a bit of a long trip for a quick gander. Hoping to head to the states soon thought I would pick up something there.

This is where I got mine, disappointingly though it was a bit more expensive then.

Yeah that is where I was looking. Wish they would give a better explanation some times. http://www.eurooptic.com/leica-er-25...ope-50025.aspx I get the TT but target turrets with IBS, I don't want the thing farting all over me.

there's a reason you don't see lots of them.
I have been underwhelmed with the glass with the ones I have looked through for their price point.

Was looking at weights this morning after been woken by one of the crew that guests were locked out. The weights worked out close between all the brands i am interested in.
    Leupold VX6 2-12x42 = 476g
    Leupold VX3i 3.5-10x40 = 357g
    Swaro 3-10x44 = 360g
    Zeiss 2-10x42 = 500g why so heavy??
    Leica 2.5-10x42 =428g
