This is mine, bit of an oddball it seems as its stamped 336w but factory 5 shot and 16.5" barrel.

Out of a 20inch 30-30 carbine, 2250 to 2300 fps with 150 gr projectiles is not difficult. The difference between that and a 15 inch 308 is not worth worrying about.
Overall length of the 2 combos will be very similar.

Can anyone tell me what the worth ofa Henry lever gun is, 45 colt, tube loader in brand new condition, no dings or scratches, mint (it's a couple of years old, but unfired til the other day, had about a half a dozen rounds through it). It's the black(powder coated maybe) steel, not brass action.
The best camouflage pattern is 'hold still and be quiet. '
@BarrytheHunter. Can’t edit post above but:
Look at my thread ‘A blast from the past’ in Off Topic section.

A few lever action rifles in my collection. I mainly have Marlins, with a few Winchesters just to keep them honest.
30/30 Texas, 2017 model.
Marlin Original Golden 39a, scope is a Barris 4.75 fixed Grand Slam. This rifle was made in New Haven. But has no JM or Rem stamping marks on it. Also has palm swell on pistol grip.

Marlin 308 Express MXLR 16inch. It is one, if not the slickest Marlin lever action I have ever owned. Im lucky I have about 250 factory rounds for it and all the reloading gear.
