The Monarchs are class scope's, 140 Amax at close in, mmm maybe have a partition or 2 in the under 100 yd stuff, I went with the 140amax and 140 game king in the .264 win mag both shoot to the same point of aim out to 200 yds.

pretty good. Listed as .571 IIRC A little more speed than the 140 amax as well

Stick with the Amax for now I reckon they are the workhorse of projectiles,they have done a grat job for me so far from 30yds to 320 yds.

Did this ever do the business at 500 metres?

With whatever buy back money I get I'm thinking of building a long range rig.

I'm sure it would have easily. A member on this forum knocked over a big red stag at 500 yards with a 260 rem running 143gr eldx on the weekend, and the 6.5-284 could push it harder.
