should be able to get a sako A7 for $1500, gunshitty is selling them at $1600 so someone else will be a hundy cheaper. would take one over a T3.

Please don't say 'inch MOA', it doesn't make sense and such things annoy me more than they should.

I don't use factory ammo much but with handloads my current and previous Savage centrefires shot 0.5 MOA, there are a couple of Rem 700s in my family that do about the same, my Ruger 308 only shoots 0.75 MOA though. Even the Savage 22mag I had grouped between 0.75 and 1 MOA, obviously that one used factory ammo.

Its really nothing unusual, plenty of people on here with Howas, Marlins and whatever else can tell similar stories. Tikka have just been clever enough to turn it into some very successful marketing.

I think its a bit more than tikka being clever, other manufacturers must be pretty bloody dumb if it is a case of most other manufacturers being able to produce the same accuracy.

I wont something i can bush bash and not give a f%^k about really, will have more coin later on down the track to get something nice so its either a marlin xs7 or a park and hale 308... not to shore on the park hale rifle as ive never shot one etc, i know the marlin is nice and light, hunting and fishing here in tauranga doing them on sale at 700 new with a decent enough scope but also i can get a parker off the net for around 500 s/hand wooden stock which i do like.
now some info guys... its down to these 2

Does it have a good scope. That would be my next purchase. Then reloading gear as out of every 20 rounds you fire 1 should be at animal and the rest at targets getting to know your rifle.
