    Any gunsmith on NZ can import them. They will simply not sell to average Joe as the German legislation prohibit them of doing so.
    They are excellent barrels and quite hard to wear out as tougher than their american counterpart . Some gunsmiths hate them as they are a bit hard on the reamers. But if you want go build a screaming longer lasting magnum they are ideal.

    I got one on my sako in 308 that still shoots well despite the thousands of rounds than went through it.

    Ordnance Developments / Belmont Ammunition were listed on the Lothar Walther site last time I looked.
    A good shot at close range beats a 'hit" at a longer range.

    Sorry to hear that. Din made me a rifle that I sold last year, it was outstanding...but too pretty for me, it became a safe queen because I didn't want to wreck it using it for hunting.
