    Wipe down externally and bore with inox. I use atf on the bolt

    Use the oil of your choice but put some effort into the environment your rifle will be stored in.

    Yse some sort of dessicant to reduce the moisture in the air , and maybe organise a small incandescent lamp to heat the air and dry it as well

    Generally whatever oil is closest. At the moment it's amsoil gun lubricant.
    During the winter I will pull the bolt apart and wipe off any visible oil. That's with central otago night shooting when it's negative-something-bloody-cold. Found from experience the oil gets more viscous, slows the firing pin enough to cause light primer strike.

    Lanocoat for storage anything longer than a few days.
    Every machine is a smoke machine,
    If you use it wrong enough.
