Bubba got me again. After smashing my Anschutz and rendering it useless, he moved onto my Ruger.

Had him fit a Timney. Tried the safety today, which I admit is a Kiwi I don't use. Rifle has excellent half bolt.

But still. Nice to have a functioning safety. As Passmore pointed out, Lawyers would not sell a trigger which disables the safety.

Fast forward to 3:00 to see the missing step. The bit you might want a gunsmith for.

This guy has a good reputation. Do you think he just doesn't like me?

Sounds hopeless, maybe he does hate you.
What kind of person with a good reputation gives something back without function testing it, or telling you it was too hard for him to sort out?

Yeah, that’s why I question his reputation. That’s if his reputation positive.

Having watched him work he needs to slow down. I would rather pay an extra $50 to walk away with a functional rifle.

Not naming names as others are happy, buy I'm done.

Will be going to see the competition to get it fixed and he's going to have a field day. Along the lines or "I told you so".

Thanks, that explains why my safety doesn't work after installing the timney.
I too don't bother with the safety but want it functioning regardless

Claims he didn't break it. Told me it was sear engagement.
Which is true, when he smacked it so hard the trigger is canted over touching one side (it's an Anschutz bit a Baikal), he no doubt messed up the sear engagement. Which is my version. Claims the trigger is on an angle because those rigles "aren't bedded"

You might beleive it if you knew absolutely nothing.

I'm getting progressively more annoyed about it, so I think he will be getting a visit shortly.

With this second one I've lost my patience.
