Thread: Magnum vs Standard DPT on 284

As above...I use the standard on mine with no worries at all....

Screwed on the Standard from the Kimber onto the T3 it’s very tight on the bushing with no movement/clearance....should I just try it out for accuracy first?

To test it, fit the suppressor without the bushing, you shouldnt run them tight on the barrel. Just be careful not to give the suppressor a big knock without the rear bushing. But it will be just fine to shoot like that to test.

@DPT whats the difference in construction between the non magnum and magnum suppressors?

Sending a 260 Tikka down to you guys to be chopped to 18" just wondering if the magnum suppressor would be better for short 18" barrel.

Same construction for both the magnum has a longer rear chamber so comes back further over the barrel but they are the same length forward.
If you want it a bit quieter with no added length go magnum but not much in it.
