I understand the purchasing process but living rural and down a long driveway how does the delivery happen? Am I required to be home to meet the courier or do you get it sent to to the local cop shop?

get it delivered to a shop in town where you can pick it up from...saves a hell of a lot of hassle....your work place is ideal...

So my delivery address doesn't have to be the same as my home address where my firearms are?
cant see why it does....... if worried talk to the copper you getting to sign off the form and explain your reason....Mr Songhursts EG of rifle being dropped at PGG and sitting there for months should really make us all stop n think with getting stuff mailed to us.

From the police website:
"The address for delivery of the items must be an address recorded against the purchaser’s firearms licence.
The purchase must be present at the address to receive the delivery, or the goods are to be held at the premises of the mail / courier company who is making the delivery."

Thank you for clarifying
I live rural and got some ammo delivered to a local dealer. Put a note in with form explaining. All good
All my stuff is delivered to my work address as advised by my arms officer.
Yes, I live out of town but gave my in town office address as the delivery address on the form. The Arms officer called me & was happy with my reply. They would rather it come to an occupied business address than be left on a door step.
