    Mannlicher 270, value?

Mate has been offered this rifle..I have the photo but no other info til I put hands on it. Interested to know a value range for good to excellent condition.. apparently the owner just wants it gone.

Id say 2k, But would depend on what was done or damaged to fit that scope mount.

Don't think Id go that high. On older rifles you gotta look past the name and decide why you want it.
That usually determines the value......then again, "willing seller, willing buyer" ; who knows

Yup they sks type scope mount definitely does it no favors. Otherwise would be quite a neat rifle

    Mannlicher 270, value?

The mounts for old Steyr’s with split rear receivers are very expensive and hard to find. I’d expect it to be blaser pricing or more. Hence the home made job.

Once these were dear rifles not so much anymore. Well below 2k particularly if stock butchered to fit the bubba mount. Finding the right person is the challenge.

Yikes that mount is a beauty , nice rifle except that , I would remove that and hopefully it’s just a few extra screw holes in receiver , the more alterations the lower the value

I think it might sell for a grand. Finding that person right now might be a challange.

There is a genuine MS scope mount on TM at present, bit spendy though.

That thing would have to be a bit of a kicker with that stock design and lack of decent pad

Very high scope looks like it might be awkward to use. 20in barrel?
