Hey - to take this tread to the next level, what is your ultimate adventure with a big bore . . . for some reason Africa and America have never interested me from a hunting perspective, but I'd love to hunt Cape Buffalo in Queensland

Exactly what the Sako .375H&H of mine is destined for. No interest in any other large game.

My current Big Bore favorite is my 50 cal muzzleloader

My Medium Bore is a 9.3x62 R93 Blaser
    300 grain Swift A Frames
    286 grain Lapua Magas
    Both very effective and accrate.
I have never tried a projectile of any sort in 9.3 that wasn't accurate in my rifle

You can get the 9.3 pushing 285gr at 2400fps, 375 h&h can do around 2700 with 270gr projectiles. Not too much in it at practical hunting ranges.

I have promised the 375 H&H its turn is next

We went to take it out on Sunday but discovered I had taken the scope off so took the 416 Rigby instead

One white Billy doesn't release how close he came to having a 350 Speer sent his way

I'm taking the 375, 458 & 505 to the range Saturday morning to sight them in so they will be ready for their turn, please don't tell my shoulder
