    Anyhow, outcome of this thread... looked at little binos and just couldn't do it, picked up some 10x42 swaro ELs

    Anyone tried the Minox BF 8x25? $199 at Gun City - tempting, but how much do they give away to Swaro & Leica? cheers

    I bought a pair of micro Leicas (Ultravid 8x20) off @BRADS. They are awesome to have in the top pocket for open bush or slips and clearings while in mixed ground. I took them tops hunting and gave up glassing with them after 10 mins and switched to my Zeiss 8x42. I guess that was to be as expected, they aren't designed for hours of scanning open tops but perfect for what I want them for.

    not exactly a tick of approval for the midgets...
    so does that mean you are regularly carrying two sets and defeating the point of a small pair of binos? or just a test run?
