@Sarvo did me a better deal than these prices
Not sure if airport prices are the best in town.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
My 10 x 25 Leica's are great for general hunting but do lose a bit first thing in the morning and last light. Very light and compact which is why I gave them to the missus and bought a pair of 10 x 42s.
I have the Swaro 8x25 CL and love them. I looked at the Leica's as I already had a pair of 8x32 Ultravids but they only do a 10x25 which I did not want. While the 8x32s are fantastic glass and already pretty compact the 8x25s are so much more portable. I read all this stuff about last light etc but the reality is there is only about a minute between them and both will see darker than I am prepared to take a shot.
I think the mistake most make is getting the 10 power version, if they made a 6 or 7 power version I would have bought those. For the dedicated tops hunter these are not for you but as an all round pair that you will not leave behind because they are too bulky to carry up the steep hill, perfect.
Anyhow, outcome of this thread... looked at little binos and just couldn't do it, picked up some 10x42 swaro ELs

Anyone tried the Minox BF 8x25? $199 at Gun City - tempting, but how much do they give away to Swaro & Leica? cheers
I bought a pair of micro Leicas (Ultravid 8x20) off @BRADS. They are awesome to have in the top pocket for open bush or slips and clearings while in mixed ground. I took them tops hunting and gave up glassing with them after 10 mins and switched to my Zeiss 8x42. I guess that was to be as expected, they aren't designed for hours of scanning open tops but perfect for what I want them for.

@LOC was just a test run. Formula for me will be if I'm taking my rem mag I'm expecting longer shots and therefore lots of glassing so will take big binos. If I'm taking my bush pig then I'm not expecting long shots (although can shoot to 500y if needed) so will throw little ones in pack.

Have a similar set up. Find that i use the smaller ones a lot more as they live in an easily accessible pocket (got a Bino bivy for the big ones) also take them on more trips as they just fit in a pocket. Out for an evening dog walk, no need for the big ones but the small ones to look a the occasional bird or something of interest
these ones on TM worth a look for nice wee 8x32's
