He died with horse in his pockets.
Plenty of money but lived a miserable life not spending a cent.
Lived a life of silent frustration with a wife that knocked him back constantly on everything he ever wanted to do.

Certainly a great lesson and reminder to the life you want

justifies the phrase "ask for forgiveness not beg for permission" by the sound of that.

If you want I can get it for you, might take a while, then remove the bolt and send it to you, or I could strip it down completely and post bits and pieces over, might take a bit of fucking around as I would have to apply for a permit to acquire for the rifle, usually takes a couple of weeks. Anyway, have a think about it and we may be able to work something out.
A very kind offer there @Kamel. I will have a think about it and if i can't find a bolt over here I may well be keen.

I certainly wouldn't need the whole striped down rifle sent over. Just the bolt would do fine.

    Cheers

Had the same situation with a 63 sportco I was offered no bolt or magazine. The bolt was found weeks later in a tin containing old photographs, and I got a magazine at the auckland arms show along with some 6.5 swede clips off one of the "treasure tables" so dont worry one will turn up.

I have had another look and there is no other obvious makings. Any idea how i would tell if it is a copy and if so what of ?

No worries mate, I wonder if I will need to find out about exporting firearm parts,? Hope you find one over there in the mean time, it may be a bit pricy for you getting me to send it over, but it wouold be good for you to be able to get the old clunker going again.
