Missing second bead sight on shotgun, should I worry?

Im not familiar with the various types of shotgun sights, most shotguns ive used just had one at the end of the barrel.
I have a remington 1100 with a skeet barrel and just realised there is a threaded part on the rail to fit a second bead sight.
I recently got a turkish shotgun that has a second bead sight about a third of the way from the end of the barrel which i had naturally never seen before.
Does a second sight aid in aiming faster? I always aim by keeping the rail flat so as to only see the end bead and point the bead at the target.
Im wondering if this has been removed for some reason or is it optional?

For target shooting I find the second one handy. When you look down the barrel both sights should make a figure 8. It makes sure you have a consistent mount. Could be a number of reasons why it's not there usaly it's someone didn't like the factory one when to change it and got the wrong thread on the replacement or they have been rough and it had snapped off. You don't need it but imo it's nice to have

Personally i never look at either bead because then i will miss for sure.
With 2 beads I had on a previous gun I could feel myself aiming at clays rather than shooting at them.

If it fits no. My first shotgun was an old turkish SxS and it had no bead on it at all as it'd been hacksawed shorter to be easier for kids to handle. It's still my go to for shooting hares off the back of the ute.

Theoretically no. If it fits and you have enough muscle memory to shoulder it properly then it doesn't matter.
On a snap shot you aren't looking at beads.
Training with it and getting correct sight picture then you could argue the value

You dont need it, the bead is just a reference point not a sight.

the brass screws inside most light fittings seem to fit most shotgun bead threads.... Im too cheap to buy proper bead LOL.... Ive had shotguns with two beads...now only use singles..got all flash at one stage and had flouro beads...took them off too.
