    Yep, I had 2 Model 742s, in .308 and .6mm. Should never have parted with them..sound familiar?? They came up quickly on target, beautifully balanced rifles. With the .308 I shot 2 deer that leapt up in front of me and bolted. Two shots, 2 deer in a nanosecond. Sorted.

    Borrowed a 30/30 Marlin lever action off a mate while on Stewart Island few years ago wasn't the 336 model but can't remember exact one. Was stunning in the way it fitted me, up and sights lined up ready to go. Scored a White tail with it.

    they should have given us a memorial site we could have visited and had a few moments silence at their demise lol lol lol

    Sako 75 before the barrel is shortened
    Brno 601 deluxe stock but it’s almost the same dimensions as the sako75 so very similar

    Anything with a heavy barrel, steady as shooting off hand, includes most muzzle loaders
