    My new Battle rifle addition

Always wanted one of these, been looking extra hard for the right ww2 correct rifle. Almost brought the winchester that was on trade me last week but when it sold for over 2k I realized someone just ripped themselves off. Got mine from craftys, 700 bucks. Ww2 early 1943 Inland division. Have a look at her boys, put the first coat of linseed oil on her last night - looks great! Every part is either made by inland division or subcontracted to be supplied to inland division. But the guy who owned before me has ruined her drilling bloody scope mount holes in the receiver, and cutting part of the stock away to Accommodate it ( got a new stock on the way ) but yea, what ya think? 700 a good price for this awesome ww2 battle rifle??

    Any body got grenades?

    Nice.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    I think $700 is a good buy!
Addictive wee rifles-fairly cheep to reload(gunworks has plinking pills cheep) and with good ammo they snot goats, hairs etc very well.

While it's sick as heck, I'm fairly certain that an m1 carbine isn't technically a battle rifle

Nice guy in the club has one and I wouldn't mind one myself, but they tell me a wad of paper could be used a bullet proof vest against them!

Would you like to test that theory?

I always ask myself. "Is it a rifle, and was it used it in battle" sometimes too

    Great score,
$700 sounds like a good price for the amount of enjoyment that you'll get from using it. No need to feel guilty either about flogging out a more collectable example with lots of use.
Enjoy shooting your new battle....... carbine.

Why not Gimp. They saw use in many a war.

Some combination of it being a carbine, and not chambered in a full-size rifle cartridge. Semantic difference. Whether it was in battle is undisputed but irrelevant
