Thread: Name that Suppressor

Yes folks it's that perennial question of can you identify the manufacturer of this suppressor.
It's 315mm long, 38mm wide, over barrel with about 120mm forward of the barrel.
Seems to be completely ali and weighs 450+gms
The 3 holes in the front as purely decorative.
It has some rubber tube over it at the moment hence the 2 tone look.

Perhaps a Rev Rog - he likes to do those ornamental extra holes in the front..

No, I know what his stuff looks like and what his designs were based off at the beginning.

Is it possible it's just a one off that someone's made up?

Do you actually know what it is and this is like a game where we see who wins? Or do you actually want to find out who made it too?

I have noidea who made it but would like to know.
I have used a variety of different suppressors over the years and this seems to be a different one again.

It may be an S&N, they were making them 5 years ago,

I understand that there are a number that, over the past years, have been manufactured in the engineering department of a well known airline company. possible to be one of those.

I'm pretty sure it's an s&n as Allan Newnan was getting them fitted for a while as that's who I got it off

I probably made it at my previous place of work, think we were machining them for a guy based in Raglan? I've got one cobbled together out of reject and setup parts, plus a box of bit floating around. We didn't make the baffles in the last lot we did, though there was hazy recollections of a monocore setup from earlier runs.

I remember now you said you thought it was an S&N, but you didn't sound that sure. I had a barrel forward one of them but it had a different end and so I wasn't sure.

reloading the only way for the 260 with the price of factory ammo.
I will see what the importer of hornady have for ya though.

LOL, I will sort something out, As I told you it will be for my son when he gets a little older so I don't need to rush to sort things.

Interested to know what it has for baffles in it?

I think a good name for that suppressor is 'Ted'...
