    Neat .17 cal cleaning trick

    I find the best method for the .17 is to:

    1. squirt aerosol bore cleaner down the barrel and let it sit as per the manufacturers spec
    2. scrub the barrel with a bore brush 10-15 times
    3. flush the barrel with contact cleaner to remove all the lose debris
    4. push first cotton bud through to wipe out the barrel
    5. push second cotton bud through wet with eezox and left to soak for 5 min
    6. push last cotton bud through to remove excess eezox

    Using the contact cleaner to flush the barrel really speeds up the process
