Need advise from you short barrel 308 guys

So i am sick of pissing around with a long barrel and a suppressor in my truck, so i am going to make a short lightweight 308.
Looking for build it off a Kimber Montana 84m, and cut it back to a point where the suppressor basically meets the stock.
Not shooting further than 250m with this rig. The 150gr superformance is listed at 3000fps (24 inch test barrel) a 16"is set up should still give hopefully 2600-2700? or load something semi reasonable.

Let me know your thoughts, and if any of you have a similar rig with any load data or ballistic info, pics would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Shit thats the business. They are .270 ballistics out of a 16". How did you find the accuracy out of the shortened kimber?

having a short barrel will not effect accuracy, my suppressor is a couple of mm off the front of the stock on my 7m-08. shoots like a dream. I don't have load data as I buy factory ammo with fantastic results.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    I have a T3 with a 16" barrel and suppressor shooting 125gn accubonds in front of H335 at 2995fps.
    Works for me.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

It was very accurate. Put a mag full in one ragged hole.

    I load 50gr 2208 and 215 primer behind a 130ttsx for a 16-18? inch rossi for 3000fps and good accuracy.

Tho 2206h or h335 better powders for this weight barnes as 50+gr 2208 is a pain to get in the case and needs a droptube.

I get 2840 with factory 150 ssts. 17" barrel. Groups are pretty average but i find that with most factory ammo. Just tested some 125 grain accubonds today- utter shit groups. But the 168 vlds were all touching at 100 and doing 2600
