Wash out with water, unless you want to put acid on your rifle.
Boiling water works well inside the barrel, get rid is all sorts of crud.
The heat from the water helps to dry it up too.
Don't spill and on your fingers because you'll drop your rifle ....... Then the tears will start.
Cheers
Pete
Arguing with an Engineer is like Wrestling a Pig in Mud.
After awhile you realise the Pig loves it.
well that was a weird thing to be doing tipping water down my barrel was hoping to see some copper come out but none at all even tho its fired a couple of hundred rounds trying to sort accuracy out
When I used to use Sweets 7.62 Copper solvent (which I avoid like the plague now, Boretech or KG is the go) I used to flush out using meths of Brakleen. Followed by a decent gun oil.
Gunsmith told me throw the sweets in the rubbish.
Shit found some 7.62 in garage used it last week
