    New Leupold 2-10x30 Mark 5HD

Leupold has released a new scope in the last week.
I'd been hoping for an FFP VX5 or VX6 scope for a few years now or at least a nice MRAD version of the 2-12.

Looks like quite a nice scope but will probably end up costing about $4500 NZ for the illuminated TMR when it gets here.

I know a few guys have been looking for an FFP scope in this mag range, not sure how popular this will be with that price tag though.

Looks neat, I like the 3-turn zero lock, but it's a heavy little sucker at 680g

Just waiting to try a Burris Veracity FFP 2-10, 30mm tube and about 630 gm, the weight has me questioning how long I keep it however but will give it a few trips first.

24oz is a bit hefty by hunting scope standards but fairly lightweight for FFP tactical scopes.
I think guys will buy them for ARs in the US but not sure they'll see much love with hunters.
