69 grain AH at 3850 fps out of 22" not quick enough ?

Just point & shoot to 350-400 yards, no recoil fantastic thermal cartridge

Don't overlook solid copper, they don't need to be as heavy as cup & core

My last one liked 100 and 115 Nosler BTs, 117 Hornady SSTs and 100 TTSX. 100 BTs caused huge meat damage at anything under 200m but much less with the 115s.

Factory twists are too slow for anything past 120 grains.

    Enjoy yours.
I had trouble with mine, bullet blow ups or pass throughs. Anyway i asked Greg Duley for his thoughts ( he had built a 25/284 ) and have used 110 gr accubonds ever since. I think the Swift Scirroco'c would go well to. 2506 needs a harder bullet to handle the higher velocity. Slightly slower kills than the 270 but very easy to hit stuff with it

6.5/06AI all the way. I’m getting 3140fps with the 147Eldm it has a long barrel tho. But my 18” barrel one is getting 2750fps with 147’s so that one is similar to a Creedmoor with a long barrel but way easier as a bush rifle with 18” barrel.
I bought the reamer in through Truflite and after chamber my rifles I left it with them. Great service down there and the 3 TF barrels I’ve owned have all shot under 1/2 Moa even tho I’m no reloading expert it was easy to find a good load with the 147’s
25/08 IMP and 11mms like this.

Yeah, those swift scirocco be my first choice if I could get them. Thinking the hot cor will penetrate vitals OK. If not I will prolly move on to 85 or 100gr Barnes.
Looking for point and shoot to 350m with hydrostatic shock smack down.
