I’d go for the swaro, but can’t go wrong with either
I wish I could make up my mind that quick, maybe when I was young(er) Haha
Haha. I've been mulling this over for the last few months @Tentman. One phone call and feedback from a variety of people helps with the decision!
I'd go carbonlight...

swaevoski is great, unsure of backup and warranty though.
vx6 great scope and leupold backup is outstanding
any one of the three will do what you want & then some. The question I'd be asking myself is which one can I shoot most accurately out of a light weight rifle platform - assuming you dont want to cart a piece of field artillery around the hills.
Every ones recoil tolerance is different but out of the three the 7mmRM is going to be best on that score ime. The 300wsm is not a lot more, but its a much sharper recoil, hence may trouble the more recoil shy shooter. The ballistics and wind drift are going to favour the 7mmRM unless you get right to the top end of big 30cal pills in 300 WM.... then you got more recoil. Personally I'd also try to avoid a brake if possible. I find I can shoot 7mmRM and 300wsm with out brake pretty well, but big pills out of 300WM is a different story. Muzzle blast from WM is fierce. Also consider bbl length and total weight of rig - the wsm & RM you do just fine out of 24in bbl, some would say even shorter if your goal is sub 600. But to get best from 300WM & high BC big pills you really got to go 26in plus brake - that's a pretty big unit to lug around steep alpine country. My recommendation is 7mmRM, no brake & keep it light as you can.

Ok fair enough. I'm looking at the comparison, it appears they weigh the same going by the website? Both 3.1kg https://choose.sako.fi/global/sako_85/compare
Carbonlight is $5.5k
Finnlight 2 is $4.3k
Pretty significant price increase for the Carbon.
Will see what price I can source the carbonlight at out of interest. I personally like the idea of having the adjustable cheek on the Finnlight.
Thanks @chainsaw, good food for thought. Will mull this over. Definitely going with the 7mm rem mag however still considering suppressor or brake.
Also consider the Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm CDS. Nice glass for the money and can be bought at a lot less than at some retail chains.
I have a Finnlight II in .308 that I use with 180 gr bullets in a pretty warm load and the recoil doesn't bother me at all as the rifle has a good thick rubber recoil pad. It must be the design of the stock. Also, the adjustable cheek piece is a nice feature on Finn II.
Those Carbonlight stocks are supposed to be very tough according to these You Tube videos.
