    Exactly. If he wants to go carbon later he can look into a Stug stock. Light enough now as it is.

    I've done the same with my tikka that I'm tricking out, loving it so far.

    Wow, those do look slick. I am mates with the owner of Kiwi Composites, currently got one of his stocks on my 7RM which I'm happy with. Very impressed with Ken Hendersons though! @Ryan_Songhurst

    Yea they are well finished stock i just wish the barrel channel was tapered and not stright

    You can bed the channel at the cost of about 50gms if that really bothers you, i was going too but I quite like the fact I can knock and grass or moisture etc out of my barrel channel

    Good idea i didnt think of that do get me wrong they are awsome stocks and well finished i did fit a better pad as those little thin ones dont last long when using them as a walking stick

    Don't forget the added cooling feature by having that open barrel channel I looked at filling mine in too, but I got used to it in no time.
