Well I enjoyed building my 6.5x.284 at the beginning of the year that much I've been stupid enough to start another, but hey why not...
So a Ruger M77 MkII again (4 now) in Long Action is now off to the Gunsmith to have the barrel removed and fitted to a mates, the action will be cleaned up and a brand new Bradley 416R barrel will be made in medium weight (don't want too heavy) with a 1:10 twist at a length of 24', fluted and threaded for a MAE LEM-A10 Suppressor.
Mr Bradley will ream this little beauty out to fit a .308 Norma Magnum, this is where I look at responses...lol Then he'll float and bed it in the new rather tasty Boyd's stock on the way from the US.
Once I have it back it'll then be of to Victor at Cerakote NZ to have a nice 2 colour job done on it (does a damn fine job too)
Then it'll be topped off with a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP
Looking forward to seeing some progress when I'm back from Bali later in the month.
A couple of pictures of some of the bits...
