    New scope for the .22

I have been offered a Leupold in 4x33 for $280 does this seem like a good deal? Any one had much experience with them?
What else is out there that is a good scope for the .22? Can you use an adjustable scope on a .22? I was thinking of taking the scope off my .223 a burris fullfield 2 in 3-9x40 and get a new scope for the .223 seeing as im going to be using it for long range stuff.
    What's everyone's thoughts?

If it seems like it's too good to be true, it probably is ...

If you're in the market for a good scope, buy it new from a reputable dealer. Then you get the benefit of any factory warranty. In the case of leupold, lifetime warranty.

Its a legitimate deal, second hand obviously and from a trust worthy guy, is it that good a price?

What model is it ?? Should be easy enough to search it up on H+F or reloaders

Big variations in the price for loopies depending on the model (vx something)

If you're going to be buying a new scope for the .223 anyway then I would just use the fullfield on on your .22
When I upgrade my scope on my .223 the current weaver will be going straight onto the .22

it will be fine mate.. make sure you check that its holding true. eg Shoot a square and if it dont come back onto the same point tell ya mate you dont want it...
Will be fine for your hare busting efforts..
    and remember to get closer..

I'm getting all misty eyed at the thought of having to replace it ... at least my eyes started watering when I saw the price of the scope I want ...
