Yep it could go either way, the one following in the mag will be a full power load that’s for sure.

Using subs you cant rely on expansion or shock to kill, aim to break something important like the spine or brain box
    I don’t take shots passed 50m
Heart shot pigs sometimes keep running like you missed till they run out of blood

Ear hole or the ear to opposing eye cross is preferred.
Iv had a few successful shoulder shots when iv had to save my dog from charging pigs but I think they were very lucky hilar area hits

I don’t often recover bullets because they often exit these are the 190subx bullets doing the same speed

That exiting thing is the fly in oinkment when shooting pigs around dogs. Subs are better for their hearing but exit just about as leathal as a fmj post pork.... The. Happy medium seems to be 12-1400fps so projectiles do expand and damage enough stuff they slow down quicker and hopefully stop inside.

Nice rifle Brian! Subsonics should still be OK with heart/lung shots i presume. Probably some more run-a-couple-of-meters instead of drop-on-the-spot.

Yeh it’s shooting rather good, good weight to carry round to, shot a couple of goats last weekend which was good.
Probably better to head shoot using the subs, penetration shouldn’t be a problem just lack of expansion.
