Nothing really special there, but can see a very "special"price tag on them.

Another thread there. Seems like a few changes... Metal shroud and improved recoil lug...but still... "Meh"

Exactly. It's a cheap basic rifle.

Then it wouldn't be a T3, more like an A7

Difficult when you have a rifle sold in such high numbers, I guess they could screen people so that less idiots who don't know how to stop the bolt from falling out end up owning one!

I have a suspicious the people loosing their Tikka bolts are the ones that like doing the classic kiwi "half cock" method, I lost a couple of rounds of ammo doing this and decided it was not for me as I was too miserable to go dropping ammo around the place

More like same Jockey, different horse!! I'm not bothered any how... I have 2 T3 rifles that don't care about the Jockey, or horses for that matter.

If it ain't broke... Don't fix it. I'm glad it's stayed the same rifle. If you want a change get something else. Or stare at something else on gun porn :p. Yeah I have lost ammo but how would you lose a bolt?? Anyway now I have a half cock safety position. SSRNZ can do it. It really works.
