I was looking at barrel liner inserts recently and the makers would not export them, as each barrel liner export required an expensive license from their Dept of Homeland Security. It's not just because of their extortional shipping costs that US manufacturers and traders find it hard to compete with China.

    Cordite, that about sums it up. I think its 350 bucks for an export license for a barrel, now thats one or twenty doesnt matter but they still have to have the 3500 main license to even do that. A lot of smaller firms couldnt be bothered with that hassle

    Hope they hurry up and pass this.
    ITAR is supposed to go up to $500 bucks and I have at least that in parts I want to order in.
    Will send in permit now just in case.
    Have never imported naughty gun parts before so the experience will be new to me
