So I really should have a scope like a Sytong LRF 3-8 on one of my Contender barrels.
It could be set up permanently for day
/night use or in QD mounts with a change out conventional scope
Either the 6.8 SPC or 30-30 would be good for 200m + on deer and wild sheep culling.
But the advantage with the 30-30 would be that its pretty useful with sub sonics also
Which brings me to my maybe dumb question
In a unit like a Sytong LRF HT60 3-8 can you have it set up on a rifle and have two ( or more ) sighting set ups programmed into it ?
One for your normal super sonic hunting ammo which is 250m capable in either caliber
And the other for your sub sonic load which is 100m capable
I have had an XP50 hand held thermal for years and it gets a lot of use with the animal control work I do.
The 30-30 90 grain XTP subs are super accurate also so would double as a fun option for shooting possums
