Update. Scope sent back from Oz 6 weeks ago and now told by Toll it is lost (never to be found). Claim in progress.

Well your problem here is you used Toll couriers... they "lost" my milwaukee drill set until I called the local boss who has the employee in her office and was already yelling at him. After I mentioned it she screamed at him that he better "find" it or his job would be gone... funnily enough it turned up 2 days later.

Yeah they seem terrible. I am still waiting for the claim to be processed. At least I should get a brand new scope (that will likely fail in the same way!).

How much was the shipment insured for ?

Did you pay for extra insurance ? most are "only" $1500-$2000
