I just read on a Sako forum I am a member of that Sako has announced they will no longer be manufacturing optilocks and optilock accessories in stainless. Get out there and buy them all up now if you want new ones!

Beretta NZ is having a special run of stainless optilocks made for NZ, annually. So in general yes they were discontinued by Sako - but they will still be available to the NZ market.
What the hell kind of decision is this
Unless they’re replacing them with titanium optilocks to go with your Carbonlite
^Indeed, It is a very strange decision. Luckily we in NZ did not agree with it and pushed to have them made specially for the NZ market.![]()
What sizes have Berretta ordered them in ? And what price can we expect?
Very odd move....it is not like the market is flooded with aftermarket options for Sako rings either.
Would certainly put me off buying say a new carbon light if the salesman could only offer rusty blued rings to mount a scope on it.

"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
1" Extra Low, 1" Low, 1" Medium, 30mm Extra Low, 30mm Low, 30mm Medium. All the usual options will be available (in NZ). Price should be the same or close to the current price.
Would hate to guess the price if special order.
This could work in our favour, sell em for heaps on eBay to Americans
