    Norinco JW15, CZ Magazine Compatibility

    Hey all,
I'm looking at getting another couple of mags for the JW, and CZ are the same...apparently.
I've been talking to my local, and he has just been told that they require some gunsmithing to fit and function properly in a JW. My question is how much?
What say you wise men and ladies of this forum.
Have you been getting the genuine CZ, the knock off CZ, or could i trust the original JW spare/replacement.
It was going to be a play thing, but when it puts 5 CCI subs into 16mm at 50m, it's getting turned into a handy bike/ute/tractor gun. Just need some more reliable mags to go with it.

They'll go straight in. Only work needed is sanding off the sharp corners at the bottom

I have the cz plastic jobbie and it works fine. Can borrow to try it if you like? Gun works website has good info as to what fits what with them.

I had to "gunsmith" my original JW15 mag to get it to stop it falling out and misfeeding!

If thats all it takes, I could almost handle it. @Steve123 Genuine CZ or the cheaper plastic variant

Years ago someone in a gunshop told me the CZ ones fit the JW15 better than the Norinco ones. And the Norinco ones fit a CZ better than the CZ ones.
I haven’t seen either yet that didn’t fit everything. But I have only touched two of the newer Polytech JW15s and it wasn’t to check their magazine cross compatibility.

Both metal and plastic with the ten round,
Metal for the five round. The plastic endcaps just need a slight rounding off. The CZ magsfeed better as well
