Hi you cannot better the 135 gr bergers ive done charts for them all... the heavier you go the less velocity so the very slightly higher BC is negated..as i said tho i do have 20 143ge ELD-X to try !!

Well I had a crack with @GWH's 28 Nosler. Wow. Thanks man, really enjoyed that.

What I did not expect at all - cos I didn't believe him - was the effect of the Terminator T2 brake. First shot, I was clinging onto this rifle for dear life thinking its gonna kick hard... but it didn't. Pussy cat! The percussion from the backwards blast was very obvious, but no almighty whack. More of a shove. Entirely manageable.

Considering its a light rifle, I was mighty impressed.

Also managed it shoot it reasonably respectably as well. Ish....

ave group size was .75 inch fine for big game (1/2 would have been nicer !!)

You did alright mate, 2 shots from the 28N and 2 shots from the 7mm SAUM, plus one shot from me and the group could be covered by a tennis ball, not bad at 400 yards from 2 rifles you'd never shot before.

Lets be honest using a rock to get the chambered round out is common practice.

I had it built on a Stiller Predator action. Bartlein 8 twist barrel finished at 26 inch, T2 brake.

It's poking out the 195s at 3100 pretty easy with RE33.

Including a big 27x scope it weights 4.4kg. Could save weight with a VX5 etc.

It's super easy to shoot with the T2, can watch your impacts etc.

The ballistics (windage are hard to beat) equals 338 Lapua/edge etc with a 300gr to way out there.

I did some wind testing with it at the end of a hunt recently. 653 yards, 17 mph cross wind, dialed in the windage adjustment.

Had my mate videoing and watching for the splash in the binos to see how far off the little white rock I hit, let rip........deleted the rock from the slip. Mate couldn't believe it.

So he jumped on my rifle and picked out another nearby rock, let rip.....same result.

He had never fired it before.

Pm me if you want more info.
