One particular user offloading surplus toys does not make a trend...

All I can say is that it's a good thing I don't own a 24 gun safe and have spare cash lying around

I myself love the beautifuly made guns of yesteryear and the well made modern wood stocked blued type rifles eg Sauer ect but on a practcal side i own plastic fantastics as they get abused pretty reguarly
I do irgnz take exception to the statement of their lack about of taking game and claiming trophys.
last year i would imagine there were three of us that took 180 animals using tikkas and as far as trophys go my dirty old plastic tikka has taken a few in the last few years much to the disgust of a few old school rifle lovers with some of them even buying one when their trusty old woody cant hit a bit of a4 at 200 yds and the plastics are doing .25 moa
So all the best with ya woody and on the thirtieth bring your woody down to our taihape nzda long range shoot and put me back in my place along with the other ten plastic lr shooters

    Cheers Andy

Is that an invitation? Depending on the range my 260 might keep your plastic fantastic honest

Nothing wrong with tikkas, like toyota corollas, not hugely interesting but reliable and excellent value for money.

Personally i won't buy a t3 (an older lsa yes please!) because i like to have things that are a bit different and interesting.

I should probably add that for nz hunting, thick bush, wet, muddy, they are great inexpensive, reliable, light, weather resistant rifles.

You can keep the beautiful walnut stocked, rust blued masterpieces safe and have a tikka (or howa in my case) for the rough stuff.

You are a brave man saying such things! Any more of that and you will have hoards of JAFA's dropping their lattes and arriving on your doorstep to beat some sense into you with their manbags

That wouldnt surprise me either. On my last trip to the north island I saw more "men" with manbags than there are males in the South Island I reckon. I felt quite left out.

I find this FUNNY... . I figured there be a few that would get pissy when A falla post an opinion. .
I knew it would stir the pot a bit. Any way know where I can get a few Tikkas to use as clubs to bash the JAFFAS away..
Didn,t take long for the thread to change tack either. MAN BAGS INDEED.
Mine cooks and cleans just nicely thanks.

Now there is a marketing opportunity for Swazi or Stoney Creek. Camo manbag with a pocket for an iPad and a water bladder. Ha ha ha ha I can just see every second fellah in Queen Street with one over his shoulder.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I carry a manbag. Fuck the haters. I initially bought it to sneak beer into fights.
