    I do suspect it's more like a 3 or 3.5x although I've never proved the point. Things are just a little bit smaller.
    I reckon it would be the Asian model. Only.paid 110 bucks for the whole shebang back in 87.
    Yea I've got one too, It came on a 2nd hand .22 I purchased. Seems to be good, Not really much info on them. See if I can upload a pic.

    I had a Carton 4X32 for years on a .22.

    It was from the mid 1960’s, bought by Dad and used on his Mod70 30-06, the scope was quirky in that the turrets moved the crosshairs in the direction indicated, ie if you needed to move point of impact to the left you twisted the knob to ‘R’

    It also tended to fog up at times.

    most scopes did that back then...and yes its a pain when you dont remember it...the redfield bearcub 2 3/4 power was ike that.
