    It doesn't have any letters in the serial code, but the eye piece is larger than the objective.

    awesome...so that tells you its OLDER than 1974...mine is the same and has post n rail...AWESOME bush scope. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES sell it .you will always regret doing so.

    I have got rid of most of my newer scopes and only use Kahles 2-7 power ones now(have 3)which they don’t make anymore and haven’t for quite a few years now, I’m a bush hobbit though, 80m is along shot where I hunt.they should outlast me I would say.

    Just checked the M8 4 power on my Martini. No letters in the serial no but the eye piece is bigger than the objective lens. I suspect it was made 60' or seventies.
