Thread: Optics on single shot rifles e.g Merkel / k95

That's a nice set up Dicko and in a great calibre, it all looks in balance to me. I think 36mm- 42/ 44 mm objective is right for these single shots .

Good to carry, very accurate to boot. However ever though its only a 7mm Mauser, when loaded with 140's at 2800 it is pretty lively off a bench.

Have just changed my scope mount from the Blaser to a Gunstar one that’s just turned up. It’s lowered the scope and looks a bit cleaner to me. Will sight it back in next week.
