I have an Atec MegaHertz 2 with both styles of end baffle. ie Just suppressor and suppressor/muzzle brake on my 6.5SAUM

I cant tell much difference between them by ear or perceived recoil. If the brake one is slightly less recoil it will only be as result of extra weight of brake bit on cap.
Looks cool mind and is not that the most important thing!!!

Friend uses the optima with brake on his 300wm, he also has a T2 which hasn’t been put on the rifle for a long time because of the noise/blast it is certainly very effective. The braked optima is very effective, negligible muzzle rise and low recoil, he can spot his own bullet splashes. I’ve been thinking of getting the brake attachment for mine to help spot my own shots.

    From my personal experience.
I was comparing my T3 brake vs the ATEC PRS mod3 on a 6GT with a heavy Palma barrel.

The brake is the best for spotting one’s own fall of shot, the hardy stealth was quieter than the PRS can/brake but the PRS had more recoil reduction than the stealth.

The PRS has directional ports and is much heavier than the stealth so that will contribute, at the shooters ear it made a woosh sound compared to a pssh of the stealth.

It was most notable when firing from a tripod standing.

I have ordered a optima 50 with brake for hunting with a 264 win mag
