Sometimes you get so used to things not being available locally that you just look overseas immediately
    FletchNZ and Nibblet like this.

Support a local vendor so that they're to able continue supporting our sport, especially one that is specifically geared towards B & E-cat stuff.
Use it or lose it, I agree $30 is frustrating when compared to the price in USD, but it isn't a big hit.

They might even charge you years later.

On Target has A2 grips for $30, which is far less hassle really, I'll just have to wear the price difference.

Ah.... more like I already had a Brownells order for Forster 6.5x55 Swe dies and thought I might throw in some AR parts.

Every time I try to support local retailers they don't have or can't/won't get what I want. It becomes a waste of time to look after a certain point

    E: things are improving though

Agreed, been there too... but in this instance they seem to have the item, hopefully in stock.

I think we will start to see a lot more variety in AR products this year. Retailers are just starting to realise that their is huge growth in AR's and it is not going away with the recent attempts by Police to stifle it.

    Update on this.

Why should I support a local vendor when 2 of them don't have the courtesy to answer enquiries regarding other AR gear from weeks ago?

That's another reason to shop with Brownells and with locals like Digit.
Some other NZ dealer/vendors have no friggen idea when it comes to customer service.
No wonder the likes of Wills, Hamills and Sportsways are gone burger or heading that way.

    Rant over.

Its cool thanks Spanners, scored one from Herbmeister in the end.

Of course, just after my rant, one of the dealers emailed me anyway. Oops.
