Just use a toothbrush or similar with a drop of whatever oil you use and flick/scrub the "fouling" out of there . It is all I do , and that includes the action .
Looks like what my CMMG AR.22 trigger group used to look like after shooting CCI subs with the can on.
I used to spray brake cleaner to get all the crap put and then a light oil on the moving parts after.
