If the Geco is the standard offering of 40gn "solid" its a very poor killer even though it shoots pretty well

as far as target ammo goes ie not match but not plinking ammo ether (somewhere between)
    mine likes eley action

match ammo i have yet to try in that rifle i have shot that rifle a bunch but i only became the actual owner of it last week
belonged to a good mate he wasn't using (he has soo many 22's) so I asked if I could buy it

i have a brick of eley match (black box) and i was just about to order a couple of boxes of tenex ,rws R50 and possibly some fiocchi official 300 and 320
plan is to try some high end ammo in it i would try lapua aswell but none in nz

shoots really nicely .5moa at 50 with the action but it dose have the odd ammo related flyer as to be expected from cheaper ammo

Tippmann M4-22. Consistently produces 10 shot groups like this at 50m. Can't be happier really.

i was given one of the hammerforged target barrel 10/22s with steel reciever and volquartzen trigger as a part trade for a black powder rifle. its a fine rifle, shoots ragged holes at 50 with cci standards, but its not my true love. my true love is my stirling that shoots slightly less good hahaha will take photos of next targets and report back

you should enter that 10-22 mate when we are allowed out that is (innless you are one of the lucky ones that doesn't need to go anywhere)

There's a few around. Kiwi Greg brought in a few and IIRC they sold quickly. I considered one but couldn't go the cost.

I've got a Vudoo V22 repeater and a 360 repeater in transit - Not sure when I'll set eyes on it with all these lock downs!
Here's 150 shots at 50 yesterday in the wind - four lots of ammo - two shooters. First three groups bottom left were foulers/sighters from a clean bore. 3 from the next 135 shots outside the circles which are 18MM OD.

Yep, I have 1 and know of at least 5 or 6 more about the country.

Awesome bit of kit. Expensive yes, but for not much more than a custom action I got a Vudoo (bartlein) barrelled action and 4 mags which I shoot far more than any custom/match rifle I have. Its great to practice (if I ever do) with something that is very familiar to my match set up (same trigger, chassis, mag size, bolt action and same scope on it).
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

have put the big scope on the 22 over lockdown, has been a bloody treat.

Rifle is a T1x in a KRG Bravo and it shoots a dream. It's used more for PRS training type shooting
