Thread: Question re Sightron S1 Tactical with adj. objective

Has anyone got one of these Sightron S1 Tacticals with the parallax adjustment on the objective?

This scope comes with the best fit BDC reticle for my rimfire requirement, plus ballistic turrets which I want. The only thing I’m not sure about is the parallax being on the objective, never had that before. I need adjustable parallax.

Any comments based on direct experience appreciated.

I've got one. Currently on a 300 win mag. Works fine but the turret's are easily moved accidentally.
No zero stop. I've painted zero lines on mine.
No problem with the front parallax ring. Its easier than side focus to use since I had to change to left handed shooting.

I’ve made a zero stop for my other Sightron (S-TAC) using these correct sized o-ring. Works really well.

I used washers on others but couldn't get it to work on this model.
