Leupold quick release if you have a not to heavy 1" tube scope.
Otherwise a good pair of picatinny steel mounts with a torque wrench.
You can also buy yourself a blaser :-)
nah wont be buying a blaser ....nor carrying round a torque wrench in the bush.
the whole idea is to have it on a pack down rifle so it all breaks apart nicely
Have used the Warne on my 375, very repeatable, went back to zero.
What rifle is it for? Mine was on a cz.
"Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence."
Warne return to zero pretty well.
I have had a few pairs on my rifles. Decent quality too.
I asked a couple of wise gunsmiths about qd rings and both said that Apel (Appel?) are the only ones that really work. The cost put me off.
I have used the German Recknagel and EAW type and the Warne QD rings - the German ones seemed to be better in terms of repeatability but yes they are pricey
I've had a lot of luck with Talley's, they are more modestly priced than the Euro stuff and a lot slimmer than the Warnes.
