There are many suppressors on the market which are at the same level of suppression or even quieter than larger, simpler suppressors, volume itself is not the key.

Effective baffle design and use of the space is more critical.

Dont just take my word for it, this has been proven many times over the recent decades in independent/unbiased tests around the world.

Also thinking of volume and size, usually the requirement from hunters and sport shooters is for smaller, lighter suppressors.

Beg to differ. I have seen and heard Gundoc perform. Annihilated the opposition on fact and testing. Finland has nice gear...Tikka ,but you got your analysis wrong. LOL.

Hi coke bottle guy here. It baffles me how a simple bottle quietens down my 22lr and it has no baffles at all in it. As a comparison a bottle over 500ml is comparable to my mae mighty mouse and buffalo river I think it is. Put a bigger bottle on and its quieter than the purpose built suppressors which although obviously Im no expert would lead me to believe the volume of the device has some bearing on it. That is unless coke bottles primary use was intended to be a suppressor and a drink bottle was just another use for it, the glass ones dont work so well
Btw I dont use the bottles as suppressors as obviously I have purpose built ones. I'm just a guy that like experimenting and testing theories
may be sarcastic may be a bad joke
