Folks,

Does anyone make a rail for the Ruger American?

If yes, any available locally?

I know nothing about them but a mate has bought one to turn into a bushpig/bail gun. Unfortunately he wants to run a red dot scope and is running into issues mounting it in the standard rings.

School a guy that has never even picked one up.

Ask dpt if he can make something up?

Tried that. Will go back with a box of beers if I can't find another option.

Apparently they won't work with the red dot he wants to use. I presume because of limited space on the tube? I've never held or even seen one so I have no idea.
