All his items can be found on aliexpress or where able to be.
Went to the supermarket in tokoroa in February. A Chinese man[ no racism] bought a whole aisle of Coca Cola. Had heaps of trolleys. The check out operator never blinked an eye. Making a living.

buying for his dairy cheaper than wholesaler at times it is annoying though when dairy owners or takeaway owners go into local supermarket and clean out whole range of stuff ( mussels certain veges ) for their shop and leave none of that item for next shopper

The buyer of that scope is on this forum. Looked up bid history and he’s selling this on trademe as well.

@McNotty yes I realized it was fake amd told the seller. No money exchanged. Seller was browned off that people had pointed this out and that he was out of pocket for success fees....

It gives an idea of how unlevel the playing field is and how much profit the supermarkets make when another business can buy there and still make a profit.

It took me a while to get my head around two guys cleaning out the chocolate bars on special at a local supermarket, but yeah, they're just making a living like the rest of us. And they aren't being dishonest about it. Not like the lowlife that scam and lie.

That one is almost comically bad. I've reported it to TM.

I bought an iray ch50 clipon from this guy, what turned up was the newest V2 model I didn't know had been released. Yes its genuine. A few weeks latter he sent me an extended battery holder for 16650 rechargeables. Three years on and its great. I think he deals in grey market stuff out of Europe. There does seem to be some alliexpress stuff on his site but its not being advertised as anything but generic unless Iv missed something??
Im not promoting him at all, just giving my experience.

Agreed, I have bought a few Minox scopes off him and have been very happy with his service and the products, they seem genuine and were demo models which seem to be in great condition. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again but yes there is also some AliExpress stuff amongst his listings.

You 100% sure? This is not a VX3, but rather a old Vari X III. Sure, the auction has a lot in things wrong with it (magnification and objective lens details wrong), but not entirely sure it's a fake.

    You are kidding?
I've had Vari-X IIIs (sold my last one a few months back), and the 'Chinglish' on the supposed boxing is the worst I've ever seen.

Here's what a real Vari-x III box looks like (taken from internet).

Some bloody good deals right there, just remember the old saying "if it seems too good to be true then it probably is".

    Happy buying
