    Your rifle was the idea I got mine from, but Mitch set back the barrel a bit to get rid of that line in the case you got where the 08 shoulder was.

    Me too.

    Seems to me that .284 Win is a perfect all-rounder for NZ game. Tahr, chamois, pigs, goats and reds down so far without issues.

    I made some additional changes to my T3 that may be of interest to some, which I will write about sometime soon.

    Something to consider with those old 7x57 is that they had a very fast twist and that seemed to increase penetration and tissue disruption. So as a result they produced 'disproportionate for calibre' killing. Don't underestimate the 7mm
